The ABB Total Flow application maintains a record counter for the Alarm Log Records, Event Records, Periodic History Records and Daily History Records.

You can recover a lost ABB record by resetting the record counter to allow the application to pull all records starting from the earliest record available in the flow computer.

This may result in duplicate records being published

To reset a record counter:

  • Open ABB device configuration and set the scan rate for the required Record (under the ‘Records’ category) to -1
  • Open the Totalflow Applications panel for this device connection and disable all Totalflow applications.
  • Re-enable required Totalflow applications in the Totalflow Applications panel.
  • Open ABB device configuration and set the scan rate back to required value.
