The Opto 22 SNAP PAC Driver module is a module for communicating with an Ignition driver for accessing Tags directly from Opto 22 SNAP PAC™ controllers and OptoEMU™ sensors.

Supported Opto 22 products and firmware:

• All SNAP PAC controllers and SoftPAC™ software-based controllers with PAC firmware R9.2c or higher
• All OptoEMU energy management sensors with OptoEMU firmware R3.0b or higher

These Tags PAC devices.  More information on these devices cab be found here.  Using this module allows for Ignition to interact with the SNAP PAC system to allow for data points of the SNAP PAC to appear as tags in the OPC-UA browser of Ignition.  These can then be used in a standalone manner within Ignition or be combined with the MQTT Transmission module to MQTT enable the tags Tags to be sent to other remote Ignition systems.  In addition, the Cirrus Link Cloud Modules can be combined with this driver to push data to other platforms for further data processing.

To download the driver module:
1. Go to Inductive Automation’s Ignition Downloads webpage.
2. Scroll down to Third Party Modules.
3. Under Cirrus Link Solution MQTT Modules for Ignition, select Opto-22-SNAP-PAC-Driver-signed.modl.
