To run Ignition with the Cirrus Link Cloud and/or MQTT Modules the following components must be installed:

• Java Runtime Environment
  • Required to run Ignition
• Ignition
  • Required base platform which also supports the Cirrus Link Cloud and MQTT Modules
• Module InstallationMQTT Modules
  • Required for MQTT Enablement of Ignition

Optionally these steps can be completed to run through some of the tutorials in this manual:

• Demo Project
  • Shows MQTT Engine metrics, allows for sending of commands to devices, seeing device data, and controlling MQTT Injector via a reference Ignition project
• Sparkplug Sample Code
  • Reference code showing how devices and data producers or control points can be implemented to work with Ignition and the MQTT modules via various programming languages
